2005 - 2006 'Transition'
The idea of this work came at the time of the barricade’s opening in the divided city of Nicosia, Cyprus. The theme "Transition" deals with the process of changing from one condition to another through an imaginative visual approach. In this concentrated moment, people, nature and other surrealistic elements, mix and mingle in a continuous flow of movement where reality meets fantasy.

The drawings recount images both of a calm, logical reality as well as of a harsh reality, of extreme conditions, in which people are required to surpass their limits, including their very male - female defined space.
